The surprising comparison made by a Blockade Australia activist

A Blockade Australia activist has blamed Australia’s economic system for the climate and ecological crisis but says he won’t blame people.

Activist, Brad Homewood, told Tom Elliott Australia was currently living the most indulgent period of life and likened the economic system to a cancer cell.

“It’s a system that is predicated on infinite growth in a finite system and we know that infinite growth in a finite system is the ideology of a cancer cell, we’re seeing this play out with eco-systems breaking down all around us,” he said.
