The Strictly Ballroom star hoping to dance his way into parliament

Labor is hoping Strictly Ballroom star Paul Mercurio can dance his way into parliament and snatch Victoria’s most marginal electorate, Hastings, from Liberal hands.

Mr Mercurio, who has taken leave from his role as a Mornington Peninsula councillor to contest the election, told Tom Elliott he wanted to help his local community.
