The story of the Stoccos: Nino Bucci’s forensic account of their time on the road

Crime reporter Nino Bucci has written a new book detailing the incredible story of the manhunt for notorious bush bandits Gino and Mark Stocco.

It’s the story of their eight year crime spree, where the  father and son duo eluded police, working their way around the country as farmhands.

He said their story captured his attention following their dramatic arrest in a rural property in 2015.

“Like most people I’d only heard about them when they went on the run from police and they had their nine day adventure of going up and down the east coast and not being caught,” he said.

“I just knew there would be more to it.”
