The staggering rate ATMs are being removed around Australia
The number of ATMs in Australia has halved in the past five years and while they continue to be removed in their droves, the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Banking Association says there is “no sign” of them disappearing completely any time soon.
Anna Bligh also explained why some people were still being charged withdrawal fees, despite banks scrapping the practice in 2017.
