Victoria’s COVID-19 vaccination rates are continuing to climb, with only seven local government areas with fewer than 80 per cent of over 15s fully vaccinated.

Across the state, 87.3 per cent of people over the age of 12 are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Victoria is expected to reach the 90 per cent double dose target next week.

But there are seven local government areas lagging behind, with double dose vaccination rates among over 15s which are below 80 per cent.

The seven LGAs which are lagging behind:

  • Yarra
  • Port Phillip
  • Stonnington
  • Moreland
  • Melbourne
  • Maribyrnong
