The ‘secret’ to performing better on the music charts revealed
The key to performing better on the music charts has been found.
According to Dr Amanda Krause from James Cook University, releasing energetic music during the warmer months was the way to go to reach the top of the charts.
“There is an association between music that is quite upbeat, happy, energetic up-tempo, and that type of music will perform better in warm sunny weather,” Dr Krause told Ross and Russel.

The study went through 70 years of the UK weekly chart also found slower music fared better on the charts in the cooler months.
