The ‘quite alarming’ story on the 3AW police report

Two men have been charged after allegedly posing as police officers during an aggravated burglary in Clayton South.

“Quite alarming circumstances,” Victoria Police First Constable Paul Hogan said on 3AW Breakfast.

Police allege the pair went to a home on Bevan Avenue last month, and when quizzed by an occupant at the property, one of them produced a handgun and assaulted the victim.

Investigators allege the second man was also in possession of a firearm.
