The push to ban Schoolies

A psychologist has called for a ban on Schoolies, the event hosted in different locations around the country for Year 12’s to celebrate the end of high school.

Adolescent psychologist, Michael Carr-Gregg, believes Schoolies is costing too much of taxpayers money with the amount of police and even drones to patrol the locations, as well excessive alcohol and drug consumption.

“Schoolies is a haven for drug beavers,” Mr Carr-Gregg told Neil Mitchell.

“Isn’t it time we found a new way of celebrating that doesn’t involve so much expense and so much potential danger.”
