The push is on to change Melbourne’s ‘mindset’ about catching a bus

The push is on to change Melbourne’s “mindset” about buses, with the city’s extensive network being underutilised.

Infrastructure Victoria CEO, Dr Jonathan Spear, told 3AW roughly half of bus services across Melbourne had fewer than 20 people travelling on them, per hour.

“So there is a big opportunity to make more out of the bus network we have got,” he said.
