The push for more statues of women in Melbourne

The City of Melbourne is pushing for more statues to be built of women.

Councillor Nick Reece told Tom Elliott the achievements of women had been ignored for too long.

“Of the 580 statues that there are in Melbourne, just nine of them are of women,” he said.
