The Premier explains why the suburban rail loop is a must for Melbourne

The Premier says the proposed suburban rail loop will become the busiest train line in Melbourne once it’s built.

Daniel Andrews joined Tom Elliott in studio following Tuesday’s announcement.

He said the project would take 200,000 cars off the roads and create at least 20,000 jobs.

400,000 people are expected to use it.

“It will be, without a shadow of a doubt, the busiest line,” Daniel Andrews said.
