The Obama event controversy in Melbourne that will ‘go international’

Wurundjeri elder Aunty Joy Murphy has sensationally claimed she was told she was being “too difficult” by event organisers and unceremoniously dumped from giving a Welcome to Country at Barack Obama’s Melbourne show this week.

“They will be going ballistic this morning, now this story is out,” showbiz guru Peter Ford told 3AW Breakfast on Thursday morning.

“It will go international.”
