Matthew Richardson has picked out a moment in Melbourne’s win over Western Bulldogs which symbolises Clayton Oliver’s current refreshed mindset.

After an off-season of woe, the gun midfielder has burst into life this season and was one of his side’s best on Sunday.

But it was a passage of play in the final term of his thumping win which particularly caught Richo’s eye.

“There was a symbolic moment (in the last quarter) where (Clayton Oliver) didn’t have a shot at goal (and instead passed to a teammate),” he told 3AW Football.

“He wants to be a team guy even more so at the moment.”
