Data from Victoria’s traffic camera watchdog reveals the staggering number of motorists fined on a 1600m stretch of the Western Ring Road during six months in 2021/22.

Chief executive of the Victorian Transport Association, Peter Anderson, says a huge number of truck drivers were fined and he believes a speed camera in a 100km/h zone just prior to the reduced speed area was incorrectly set to book motorists travelling at above 80km/h.
