The main reason why NBN customers are experiencing internet problems
NBN outages and dropouts have become a big issue for customers, with a recent report showing internet complaints about connecting to NBN increased by 13 per cent between January and March this year.
General manager of media and external communications at NBN, Jane McNamara, believes the increasing levels of data usage is the main reason for the problems.
She claimed data usage has “absolutely skyrocketed” across the country, tripling in the past six years on the NBN network, and is expecting to grow from year to year.
