The potential future locations of nuclear power stations in Australia promises to be a “long and challenging issue”, according to the Grattan Institute.

The federal opposition has recently unveiled their proposed areas where power sites would be built, with the Latrobe Valley and Anglesea earmarked as potential areas in Victoria.

“You can see where this is going to go,” Grattan Institute Director of Energy Tony Wood told Ross and Russ on 3AW Breakfast.

“This is going to be a very long and challenging issue, the opposition needs to be more clear on what they’re putting forward between now and the next election.”
