The latest update from Geelong after assistant coach collapses at training
Geelong assistant coach Steven King is recovering in hospital after collapsing at the club’s last training session before Saturday’s Preliminary Final against Geelong.
King was rushed to hospital and training stopped as an ambulance rushed to the scene, with club latest confirmed he had suffered a “medical episode”.

“He’s breathing and he’s all well which is great news for Steven King and all his family,” Geelong great Jimmy Bartel said on 3AW Football.
“It would be rather shocking when you just read the reports and send a few messages out (to find out what happened).”
