A 14-year-old Braybrook boy has died after being found injured in the street in Melbourne’s north-west overnight.
Detective Inspector David Dunstan told Shane McInnes, filling in for Tom Elliott, the teenager was with friends when the group was driven into by a mid-size light coloured SUV.
“Two of the occupants of the car have left the vehicle armed with knifes or edged weapons and assaulted the victim with those weapons which ultimately resulted in fatal injuries,” he said.
