The father of one of the Melbourne teenagers on life support in Thailand after suspected methanol poisoning has spoken publicly for the first time.

Bianca Jones and Holly Bowles were travelling through Laos where it’s believed they consumed a drink laced with the toxic chemical.

Channel 7 reporter Cassie Zervos, who is in Bangkok following the story, spoke with Jacqui Felgate shortly after Holly’s dad Shaun Bowles addressed the media.
