The ‘lab-grown’ meat which could hit shelves as soon as next year
Lab-grown meat, commonly known as cultivated meat, could soon be on supermarket shelves as soon as next year.
The type of meat is grown in a lab from a few animal cells, with CEO of cultivated meat company Magic Valley Paul Bevan claiming the meat is a “new concept to most people”.
He also believes it’s a “more ethical solution for producing animal protein”.
