The ‘giant’ amount Tourism Australia is spending to host ‘influencers’ with taxpayer money

Tourism Australia is facing criticism for their lavish spending of taxpayer money to get “influencers” into the country.

Travel Writer for The Age, Ben Groundwater, says the people who don’t support the spending claim it’s a “giant waste of money”.

“They’ve been saying that Tourism Australia is paying for the free holidays of absolute nobodies,” Mr Groundwater told Tony Moclair on 3AW Afternoons.
