‘The French have proved it’: Tom Elliott wants Victoria to undertake a police crime blitz

French police underwent a crime blitz before the Paris Olympics, which saw the crime rate drop significantly.

Tom Elliott says crime blitzes work and thinks we need to have one in Victoria to decrease the current crime rate.

“The French have proved you can reduce it but you have to be prepared to do it,” Elliott said on 3AW Mornings.
