Sam McClure says the essence of football is “changing before our eyes” after a week which has seen dangerous tackles again in the spotlight.

Both Toby Bedford and Charlie Cameron were unsuccessful at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night and will now miss three weeks after being cited for dangerous tackles last weekend.

“I’ve been stewing on this since Monday,” he said on Wide World of Sports.

“The fabric of football is changing before our eyes.”
