The driver of a car involved in a crime spree in the state’s west is on the run

A silver Ford sedan is involved in a crime spree spanning hundreds of kilometres in the state’s west yesterday.

It’s understood police did not pursue a car.

The 3AW Neil Mitchell Program has been told the car was initially spotted without number plates, ramming other vehicles in Torquay.

It was later seen in Lorne and Apollo Bay and it’s been linked to a petrol drive off in Gelibrand

Number plates were stolen in Cobden, and the vehicle reached speeds in excess of 130kmh around Terang.

No arrests have been made.
