The dire teacher shortage facing Victorian schools
Teacher shortages have become so dire in Victoria, student reports are not coming out on time, angering parents who can’t track their children’s progress.
At least 10 teachers at Greater Shepparton Secondary College say they’re unable to complete student reports.
Victorian Association of State Secondary Principals President Colin Axup said the situation is not surprising, and stated there are more than 800 jobs unfilled in public schools across the state.
