The ‘confronting’ messages Wayne Gatt has received from police officers amid wild CBD protests

Secretary of the Victorian Police Association Wayne Gatt has received some “confronting” messages from experienced police officers since the wild protests began in the CBD yesterday.

Gatt along with Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Shane Patton both had some strong comments on 3AW Drive yesterday on the protesters who descended on the Land Forces expo at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

“That’s confronting when you hear that from such experienced police officers,” Gatt told Ross and Russ.
