The concerning statistic on high school maths teachers in Australia

New data has revealed one in three high school maths teachers in Australia have not received specific training in the subject.

The report released yesterday by the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership, revealed the downward trend in teaching standards in the country.

Education expert, Adam Voigt, says the concerning statistic “goes directly to the teacher shortage crisis” and claims “it’s happening in almost every subject”.
