Water Police Inspector James Dalton has detailed some “pretty ordinary” behaviour out on the water in the first week of 2025.

It comes as the Water Police Squad issue a safety warning ahead of the weekend, with a concerning spike in incidents mainly relating to jet ski riders, compared to the same time last year.

“It has been very, very busy,” Dalton told Heidi Murphy on 3AW Drive.
