The City of Greater Dandenong call on smokers to put their butts in the bin

A local council has launched a new campaign to stop smokers littering.

The City of Greater Dandenong is calling on smokers to keep it clean and use ‘personal butt bins’.

Peter Shelton is heading the campaign, he spoke with 3AW Drive.

‘There’s no buts about it, Dandenong is not the people’s ash tray,’ he told Nick McCallum.
