The changes Matthew Lloyd wants Carlton to make ahead of crunch Elimination FInal

Matthew Lloyd has pinpointed a number of key tweaks Carlton should make with their game plan ahead of their do-or-die Elimination Final against Brisbane.

Despite losing against St Kilda, Fremantle’s loss to Port Adelaide handed the injury-hit Blues a finals lifeline as they look ahead to Saturday week’s re-match of last year’s Preliminary Final.

Lloyd said on Wide World of Sports even as Carlton prepares to welcome back several star players, it was important they made in-game tactical changes and become less predictable.

“It’s a huge opportunity to have a week to regroup (during the pre-finals bye),” he said on 3AW.

“They haven’t been good for six weeks – even when they had a full list they weren’t playing that well.”
