The brains behind a popular COVID-19 tracking website have unmasked themselves!

And, much to the surprise of plenty, they’re a trio of teenage boys!

Jack, 15, co-founder of Covidbase, spoke with Ross and Russel on Monday!

“The three of us have the interest in the sort of skills sort of required to do this,” Jack said when asked why the boys set up the website

“My friend Darcy is extremely good at coding, which has been a lifesaver.

“We work really well as a team.”

The website and its associated social media pages track the number of new cases, vaccination rates, tests taken and the source of infection.

Jack shared some of their latest predictions, including when Victoria would hit 80 per cent double-vaccinated.
