Tom Elliott has reacted to both Labor and the Coalition’s pledge to boost funding for Medicare ahead of the upcoming federal election, which has left the 3AW Mornings host with one big question.
The Labor government has announced an $8.5 billion funding boost for Medicare, with the Coalition matching the spending promise, which would be the biggest overhaul of Medicare in decades.
“It’s as though all the rules get thrown out the window because there’s an election coming up,” Elliott said.
