The best way to prepare for a dry summer ahead of El Nino revealed

The Bureau of Meteorology has officially declared Australia will go through an El Nino weather event for summer.

Meteorology expert and visiting fellow at the school of mathematical and physical sciences at the University of Technology Sydney, Dr Milton Speer, says while there isn’t much time to do prescribed burning, there are still steps Australians can take to minimise fire damage to their homes.
