The Australian batting ‘so much better than anyone else’ during Boxing Day Test

Former Australian captain Kim Hughes has lauded the form of Mitch Marsh, praising his aggressive style which was once again on full display against Pakistan during the ongoing Boxing Day Test.

Marsh has had a career-best year across Test and ODI level, playing a crucial role in this year’s Ashes as well as in Australia’s victorious World Cup campaign.

The West Australian fell just short of bringing up his century at the MCG on Thursday after he was dismissed by Mir Hamza for 96.

“Mitch Marsh is batting so much better than anyone else,” he told Matt Granland on Wide World of Sports.

“He made it look really easily, he’s putting all the pressure back on the (Pakistan) bowlers.”
