The Anzac Day memory which taught Matthew Lloyd ‘a lot about life’
Matthew Lloyd has reflected on the memory of the late Jack Jones speaking at Essendon early on in Lloyd’s career.
Jones is a triple premiership player and club Hall of Fame member and served with the 24th Infantry Battalion in New Guinea during World War II.
“It taught me a lot about life,” Lloyd said.
