The alarming study on social exclusion in young people (and tips to help them feel included)
An alarming new study by Orygen and Mission Australia has shown the extent to which young people in Australia experience social exclusion.
18,800 people aged between 15 to 19 were surveyed, with Research Fellow at Orygen and co-author of the report Dr Kate Filia stating there’s a “big chunk” of young people reporting educational and employment dissatisfaction.
Dr Filia also spoke on some tips for how parents can help their kids feel more included.
