The AEC reveals what you should do if you receive more than one ballot paper

Following news a woman received two ballot papers yesterday for the upcoming referendum, the Australian Electoral Commission says they have strong integrity checks.

AEC spokesperson, Evan Ekin-Smyth, says they “err on the side of the franchise”.

“So even if something looks very similar, we err on making sure we get somebody a ballot paper, because we’ve got the safety on the way back in,” he told Neil Mitchell.
