‘That is just wild’: Infamous ghost prison story takes another twist
The infamous ghost prison near Geelong may be finally start to inmates after sitting empty for months – with a twist.
Jacqui Felgate revealed in February that the $1.1 billion facility had been largely laying dormant, but Shadow Police Minister Brad Battin said on 3AW Drive three prisoners were now being moved into the facility to clean it before a major visit next week.

“You wouldn’t want the Minister or Premier walking around there seeing cobwebs to keep a $36 million place empty,” Brad Battin said on 3AW.
“That is just wild,” Jacqui Felgate said after hearing Mr Battin’s revelation.
