Telstra unveils first look at 5G network, 160-times faster than NBN
Telstra has unveiled an Australian-first, a video call on the 5G network.
The call was made between Sydney and the Gold Coast on the network which will take over from the current 4G system.
When 4G first came into play, it was three times faster than its predecessor the 3G network.
This 5G network shows a speed of 2GBps, that’s 160-times faster than the highest speed of the NBN.
Telstra CEO Andy Penn tells Ross Greenwood it’s a game changer.
