Teenagers arrested after string of armed robberies in Melbourne’s east
Two teenagers, one aged just 14, are in custody following a series of armed robberies in Melbourne’s east last night.
Police say a group of teens approached a 43-year-old woman from behind, in a Box Hill carpark about 9.45pm.
The group fled in the woman’s silver Toyota sedan.
It’s believed the same teens then robbed two service stations, the first on Blackburn Road Glen Waverley about 12.45am then ten minutes later on Warrandyte Road, Ringwood North.
The stolen car was recovered in Healesville and the 14-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl were arrested about 2.30am.
Police believe there are two other teens are still outstanding.
