What Ted Baillieu says ‘has to change’ in the Liberal Party

Former Victorian Liberal premier Ted Baillieu says the state election results look “incredibly disappointing” and the Liberal Party desperately needs to change.

He says the Liberal Party needs to shift its approach at both a state and federal level.

“My faith is in young people,” he told Neil Mitchell.

“I think that’s where we’ve got to be as a political party. You’ve got to have some faith in young people and we’re going to have to have some change at both levels.

“We’ve got a NSW election early next year and that’s going to be a huge test as well. I don’t know how that’s going to go but the party has to change.”
