Technology behind wrist-worn tracking device for Aussie kids
A new wrist-worn device has been developed to help parents keep track of their kids.
It’s a smart watch, phone and GPS tracker that has been in the pipeline for four years.
Mark Fortunatow, CEO of MGM Wireless and founder of Spacetalk, told Tom Elliott it’s a way for parents to stay connected and know where their children are.
“It will make and receive phone calls and send and receive text messages but only to those people that parents have set up,” he said.
“It’s to give parents peace of mind, and for kids and parents to stay connected without all the nasties like social media.”
It also has an SOS contact.
