Taxi drivers to shut down Melbourne CBD in protest
UPDATE: Angry taxi drivers clashed with police outside the steps of parliament.
The drivers shutdown part of the CBD on Tuesday as part of a protest.
Much of the action centre on the corner of Bourke and Spring Streets.
Police arrived and ordered the drivers to move on but they refused to budge.

Drivers also held a sit-in at the Premier’s Noble Park office.
