Taxi call centre moved to South Africa

Silver Top Taxis has moved its call centre to South Africa, a controversial move the Australian Services Union was made with minimal consultation.

Victor Jose from the union told Neil Mitchell “about 50 to 70” jobs at Abbotsford had been terminated as a result.

“We’re very disappointed,” he said on 3AW Mornings.
