Shocking Sydney Road smash leaves several injured

A man has been left fighting for life and several others have been injured in a shocking smash on Sydney Road.

The crash happened on Monday afternoon after a truck exited the Western Ring Road.

Multiple cars were hit during the collision.

A male passenger in the first vehicle struck was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

Several others were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The smash saw Sydney Road closed outbound.
