Sydney ramps up bid to steal Formula 1 Grand Prix from Melbourne
Sydney is ramping up its bid to steal the Formula 1 Grand Prix from Melbourne.
Venues NSW chairman Tony Shepherd, who is also chairman of the GWS Giants, told 3AW the harbour city would be mad not to explore its options.
Melbourne’s contract expires in 2025.
“It would be a fabulous event in Sydney,” he said.
