Suburban footballer dies after collapsing on the field
A player in the Central Highlands Football League player has died after collapsing during a match.
Emergency services were called to Learmonth Football Ground just before 2.30pm on Saturday where the Dunnstown reserves player had collapsed on the field.
Efforts were made to revive the man, but he died at the scene around 4pm.
He was aged in his 20s.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
