Storm in a teacup

Darren James says the controversy surrounding Chris Gayle’s comments toward a female sports reporter is a storm in a teacup.

He argued the reaction was ‘out of control’ and blasted the notion that Chris Gayle should face sanctions.

‘Life is changing and you have to be politically correct with everything you do, particularly in the workplace,’ Darren said. ‘I thought in my opinion it was funny. Mel has to have the ability to be able to handle that sort of stuff.  And you know what?  She did.’

‘No one berated Robin Williams when said to Jana Wendt that he thought she had lovely eyes…she was in the workplace!’ Darren argued.
