Steven Hocking responds to Damien Hardwick’s criticism of the goal review system

Steve Hocking knows score reviews aren’t perfect.

But the AFL’s manager of football operations believes it’s not far off.

Richmond coach Damien Hardwick slammed the review system after the Tigers’ momentum was stalled by a questionable outcome.

Hocking told 3AW Football he understands Hardwick’s frustration.

“We’ve definitely got the basis of a good system, but it needs some work,” he said.

Hocking said score reviewers have access to different footage than the TV broadcasters.
