Stephen McBurney left ‘disappointed’ over umpire integrity concerns with in-game communication

AFL umpires boss Stephen McBurney has expressed his disappointment over umpires being questioned for their integrity amid the news they are advised by a coach during games through earpieces.

It comes after several AFL coaches expressed concerns over the in-game umpire communication.

“I’m just disappointed that it’s pointing the finger at us from an integrity point of view,” McBurney said on 3AW.
